Joseph Gallagher is the leading UK based Civil Engineering & Tunnelling sub-contractor, growing significantly in the last 37 years into an international business. In the Middle East, we are leading the way in trenchless technology, carrying out all forms of non-disruptive, no dig construction techniques with extensive experience from long sea outfalls, Non-Disruptive Road Crossings to Oil and Gas Pipelines, understanding fully the requirements to operate in each of these sectors.
We are currently recruiting for Pit Bottom Labour to join our team based in the UK on Microtunnelling projects.
As the Pit Bottom Labour, you will be required to:
- Help set up the micro equipment
- To carry out efficient pipe changes
- To strip tunnel once drives complete
- To help identify any potential problems
- To help demobilise equipment on completion of the job
To be successful in this position the Pit Bottom Labour must have:
- CSCS Card
- Confined Space Training - City and Guilds
- Any CPCS tickets would be a bonus
- Good understanding of micro-tunnelling
