Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team and play a crucial role in delivering practical and innovative solutions to our clients. This role involves direct client engagement, technical design, equipment analysis, and compliance with UK regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary liaison with site-based clients, understanding their needs through direct communication and site visits.
• Collaborate with our engineering team to develop practical and efficient solutions tailored to client requirements.
• Prepare and deliver comprehensive technical and commercial proposals.
• Design and develop engineering solutions in strict compliance with UK regulations and industry standards.
• Conduct performance analysis of equipment, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing necessary enhancements.
• Carry out routine inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal functionality and compliance with safety protocols.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting guidance to site-based clients.
• Guarantee all engineering designs and systems adhere to relevant UK regulatory frameworks, including Pressure Systems, LOLER, and PUWER.
• Process Innovation – Apply modern business methodologies, engineering development frameworks, and process mapping techniques to streamline workflows and enhance productivity.
• Advanced Design & Engineering – Create and validate ventilation, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, integrating the latest industry best practices.
• Technical Leadership – Sign off calculations for ventilation, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems that have been designed for customers, ensuring precision, compliance, and optimisation of system performance.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of industry experience, preferably within the construction sector.
• Proficiency in CAD software and other essential engineering tools.
• Strong grasp of mechanical principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Extensive knowledge of UK regulations and standards concerning mechanical systems.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, commercial, and communication skills (both written and verbal English).
• Proven ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
