Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draughtsman to join our team in Bahrain, with an immediate start. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing accurate and high-quality 2D technical drawings to support construction activities. This role requires construction-related experience, with microtunnelling experience considered a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed 2D drawings using AutoCAD for civil and structural works related to ongoing construction projects
• Produce and revise technical layouts, general arrangement drawings, and shop drawings in accordance with project specifications
• Interpret engineering sketches, design instructions, and site information
• Support project teams with updated drawings and respond to drawing-related queries
• Maintain an organised system for drawing control, revision tracking, and documentation
• Liaise with engineers and site teams to ensure drawing accuracy and coordination
• Prepare as-built drawings based on redline mark-ups and site feedback

Requirements:

• Diploma or Certificate in Engineering, Drafting, or a related technical discipline
• Proven experience as a draughtsman in the construction industry
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with drawing standards and conventions
• Ability to understand and produce drawings based on civil and structural construction requirements
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
• Good communication and coordination skills

Desirable:

Experience with microtunnelling or trenchless technologies
