Crawler Crane Operative

Division: Tunnelling

Joseph Gallagher have an award winning reputation and has had the privilege to be part of some of the most complex infrastructure projects taking place today.

The Role

We are currently recruiting for a Crawler Crane Operator to join our team on tunnelling project based in London.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manipulate and depress of crane controls
  • Responsible for carrying out lifting operations in a safe manner, ensuring health and safety procedures are followed
  • Follow lifting plans set out by the AP/Lifting Supervisor
  • Carrying out regular inspections of the crane and carrying out any maintenance of equipment

Qualifications/Training

  • Blue CPCS - A62 Crawler Crane
  • In-date Safety Critical Medical (Desirable)

Experience

  • Extensive experience operating Crawler Cranes
  • Experience working on major tunnelling projects
  • Knowledge of civil construction practices, lifting plant and equipment
  • Knowledge of maintenance, inspection, thorough examination and testing requirements for lifting equipment and accessories
