Senior Quantity Surveyor – Euston & Old Oak Common

We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Quantity Surveyor (SQS) to lead commercial management activities across our major programmes at Euston and Old Oak Common. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role on high-profile infrastructure projects, working with a collaborative team in a dynamic and fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead commercial functions across project packages, ensuring robust governance and compliance.
Manage and administer NEC Option A contracts effectively, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations.
Drive change management processes, including identification, evaluation, and agreement of variations.
Oversee measurement and ensure accurate quantification for cost planning and valuations.
Produce reliable forecasts, advising on project risks, opportunities, and financial performance.
Prepare and review applications for payment, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
Develop and maintain project cashflows, aligning with programme and delivery forecasts.
Lead monthly CVRs (Cost Value Reconciliations), clearly reporting commercial positions and trends.
About You
You will be a proactive, detail‑oriented commercial professional with strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with project teams, suppliers, and stakeholders. You’ll thrive in a complex environment and have a passion for driving value, ensuring commercial rigour, and supporting successful project delivery.
Essential Experience
Demonstrable experience with NEC Option A contracts
Strong background in change management
Excellent measurement and cost management skills
Proven ability to develop accurate forecasts
Skilled in preparing applications and managing commercial submissions
Experience building and maintaining cashflows
Confident in leading and presenting CVRs
