Job Title: Horizontal Directional Drillers & Trackers
Location: UK-wide (predominantly windfarm and water pipeline sector projects)

Overview:
We are currently seeking experienced Horizontal Directional Drillers and Trackers to join our growing team, delivering a strong pipeline of projects across the UK. With a secured workload through to 2029, this is an excellent opportunity to join a stable and forward-thinking contractor operating primarily within the windfarm, water and general utility sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and support HDD rigs in line with project specifications and safety standards

• Carry out drilling, reaming, and pullback operations efficiently and safely

• Track and guide drill heads accurately using appropriate locating systems

• Monitor ground conditions and adjust drilling techniques as required

• Ensure all works are delivered in accordance with programme and quality requirements

• Maintain plant, equipment, and tooling to a high standard

• Work closely with site teams, supervisors, and engineers

Requirements:

• Proven experience in HDD operations (Driller or Tracker role)

• Good understanding of ground conditions and drilling techniques

• Competence with industry-standard tracking systems

• Strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards

• Ability to work away from home and travel to sites as required

• Relevant certifications/tickets (preferred but not essential depending on experience)
