Site Agent - Heavy Civils & Water
Location: Southampton
Salary: Competitive (DOE)
As the Site Agent, you will be responsible for:
Managing and overseeing daily operations on the site as per the contract drawings and ensuring regular checks are carried out
Reviewing plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy
Ensuring that quality control requirements are met and recorded in accordance with the Client specification
Providing leadership and addressing any technical challenges that arise on site
Coordinating and conducting pre-start site surveys
Guaranteeing a timely handover of works and quality records without outstanding defects, in close collaboration with the Project Manager and installation teams
Maintaining and enforcing a high standard of Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance on site
Performing site calibration checks
Leading in resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise on site
To be successful in this position you must:
Have previous experience managing heavy civils Projects - Cofferdam, Backfill, Clean Water pipework installation
SSSTS, CSCS, Blue EUSR card (water hygiene card)
Have a proven track record of overseeing and leading civil engineering projects
Possess a deep understanding of construction methods, Health & Safety, and legal regulations
Hold a valid CSCS card
Be flexible with the ability to travel nationwide
Exhibit excellent communication skills with the capability to liaise effectively with the site-based team and Clients
Have the skill to work effectively as part of a team and independently
Demonstrate proven troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
