Location: Southampton
Salary: Competitive (DOE)

As the Site Agent, you will be responsible for:

• Managing and overseeing daily operations on the site as per the contract drawings and ensuring regular checks are carried out

• Reviewing plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy

• Ensuring that quality control requirements are met and recorded in accordance with the Client specification

• Providing leadership and addressing any technical challenges that arise on site

• Coordinating and conducting pre-start site surveys

• Guaranteeing a timely handover of works and quality records without outstanding defects, in close collaboration with the Project Manager and installation teams

• Maintaining and enforcing a high standard of Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance on site

• Performing site calibration checks

• Leading in resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise on site

To be successful in this position you must:

• Have previous experience managing heavy civils Projects - Cofferdam, Backfill, Clean Water pipework installation

• SSSTS, CSCS, Blue EUSR card (water hygiene card)

• Have a proven track record of overseeing and leading civil engineering projects

• Possess a deep understanding of construction methods, Health & Safety, and legal regulations

• Hold a valid CSCS card

• Be flexible with the ability to travel nationwide

• Exhibit excellent communication skills with the capability to liaise effectively with the site-based team and Clients

• Have the skill to work effectively as part of a team and independently

• Demonstrate proven troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
